First, another review:
“… a frothy summer read for anyone interested in the collegiate antics of the secret rulers of the world.” — Edward Nawotka, Bloomberg News
Secret Rulers of the World, huh? Apt. As some of you know, Secret Society Girl deals with the tension between the legends about collegiate secret societies, and what kind of power they actually wield. I take a lighthearted view of the whole thing, but many many many people believe that these elite clubs are actually powerful cabals that control the world. That there is something to the fact that, for instance, both George W. Bush and John Kerry were members of Skull & Bones. (And George’s father George, too, while we’re at it.)
It’s true that once you start reading up on the various high positions that secret society members have attained over the years, you begin to wonder if maybe there isn’t something to all these speculations. The big question is: are they powerful because they are in the society, or are they in the society because they are powerful? Ponder that.
And then ponder whether the conspiracy theorists have it right. Is there something to all the claims made on sites like this one?
Check it out. And decide for yourself whether or not you’re really celebrating your independence today.

Thank you for getting the word out about this. It’s important for as many people as possible to realize what kind of control they have over the government and the media.
Keep the faith.

And on the link….Makes you wonder, doesn’t it? I’m suspicious enough by nature that I could believe in some of this *g*
