I know how you’re feeling, Diana. There have been at least a couple of conventions where I have come back with some sort of con crud. And at the moment, I have what could be called con crud, except that I did not get it by attending a convention.

If you spend most of the convention running on adrenaline (which is all too easy to do), and you let yourself get just the slightest bit run down, you leave yourself open to catching whatever may be running around at the moment. Remember the 5-2-1 Rule I told you about? This is one of the reasons behind the rule.

How many Dr. Manhattans did you see at DragonCon? Hmmm, maybe that should be, how many out of shape Dr. Manhattans did you see?

Ya apparently PAX (Penny Arcade Expo) had a bunch of swine flu outbreaks.

but the good news is, according to both GoogleHealth and WebMD:
“Most people who get H1N1 flu will likely recover without needing medical care.”

So no worries. Drink some OJ or Sprite and get some rest. Suffer through a little bit of discomfort and it’ll pass.
