now that the weekend’s almost over, do my plans even count? I got my laundry done and wrote 5 pages this afternoon (yay me!) – all of which I had planned. I did not, however, read the research book or do the tax organization and filing I had planned.

And hey, anonymous, if I were as cute as Diana – enough so to model for book covers at that – I’d be posting pictures of myself all over the damn place. But I think Patrick is onto something – maybe Diana should showcase a poster a week to make sure she doesn’t come off as “too self centered.”

Don't you find it self-centered to name your blog after YOU?

Haven't you considered calling it 'Patrick' and talking more about me and my accomplishments?

Maybe you could post some artist interpretations of how I look since I am to beautiful for photographs.

Also, your profile seems to be all about YOU, too. Don't you think thast should be more about the growth cycle of potatoes? Honestly, that is what I was expecting to find...

It occurs to me that if Little Lamb Lost, won, then Little Lamb Won, lost. Go ahead and say that ten times fast.

Interesting idea, anonymous. So, let me get this straight: One kind of work I do is perfectly fine to promote on my own blog, but no other; my picture on the profile section of the blog-- where it is clearest and most noticeable-- is okay, but anywhere else on the blog is a sign that 'u like looking at urself'; and I'm somehow attempting to take credit for books clearly written by other people whose names are on the cover (whereas my name is nowhere to be seen)? Mystifying.

Self-centered? By that, do you mean showing and talking about things I've done on my own personal blog? What a novel idea.

I'm proud of my covers. I think the photographer is very talented and I had so much fun making them. I hope the woman who posed for the cover of the books I wrote (you can tell which ones they are because they have my name on them) feels the same way. And if any visitor to the blog is inspired to pick up a copy of the books whose covers I posed for, I'm thrilled, because I have read each of them and think they're great fun as well.

Try again, and consider using real words and a real name.
