Of course I have a special place in my heart because JENNIFER was the first person to turn in her assignment — she turned it in before i was even done writing mine and I had to keep it on my server and not look at it until I was done.

But I love this scene. I love the heroine’s attitude, the whole idea of the carnie lifestyle (what can I say? I lived in Sarasota. I drank from carnie waters and it infected me…), and of course, the powerful hook at the end.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!!!!
