Gah, I am absolutely madly in love with Logan. Like ally carter said, I don’t really know if it was the character or Jason, but that I love that man.

I’m also a big sap for some Buffy/Angel as well.

i agree with the alpha male and the damsel in distress chemistry going on.. i was hooked up on Rory and Logan(gilmore girls) and Michael and Sara (prison break) for months! took so long before i could get over those pairs not ending up together

Well, there must be something about belts, because that was where I first started loving Logan.

There is no other way to put it: I LOVE Logan. And JD does have a large part in this, because he plays Logan to perfection. But I also love the character of Logan… which is wrong. I could pretty much forgave him for any mistakes he’d made during the series (you just have to take one look at his messed up home life and it’s easy to do this) but I always maintained a slight hostility to Duncan. Probably because he seemed to channel a block of wood during the entire first season. Teddy Dunn’s subpar performance stood out, especially when compared to the rest of the cast.

The belt scene was actually played out really well. If any viewer’s hearts didn’t melt a little (or a lot) at that scene, I’m amazed. Using the same piece of music to span across the previous scene and the belt scene was genius. I remember having a huge smile on my face when Logan one-upped his father. That smile quickly faded, however, when the next scene was of Logan getting a belt. It was a very powerful scene.

Ally, I feel the same as you. I’m madly in love with Logan. I know it’s wrong, but I can’t help it. I adore him, and like you, I think it started with the belt scene.

I love Logan. Love him. And to this day I'm not sure if it was the way he was written or J.D.'s portrayal. Probably the writing and the actor merged as season 1 went on. For me, personally, I started loving Logan as soon as his father told him to go get the belt. I think that was the first time I ever wondered what was going on inside that cocky, cocky guy.

And wanted to kiss him for it.

Just to clarify – I think Jason Dohring’s character (Josef) has chemistry in Moonlight, not Mick. I believe that Mick has very little chemistry on purpose. Angst is Mick’s specialty.
