Unsurprisingly, more than half of the respondents to yesterday’s poll were like “Whatever, Carol. Tell me more about Poe.” I am curious if the response would have been similar had the poll been “What about Amy?”

Anyway, I’ve got a big fat working month ahead of me that has unfortunately started a week and a half late. But I shall not despair! And I shall begin each day with these forty, inspirational speeches (in two minutes):

Ah, there has never been a speech so inspiring as John Belushi’s in Animal House ;-) thanks for that.

    Cool speeches, thanks for posting.

Of course we all care about what happens to Amy, lol. And all the other characters we actually know. Carol, however, is out in the cold.

I think I’m one of the few who wants to know more about Carol. Not as much as I want to know about Amy–who would obviously get equal votes as Poe (in my opinion), but wouldn’t it be cool if all of a sudden, at the end of the novel, Carol wanders in and gives an epilogue detailing what she knows about the characters? It would totally be like Nikki and Paulo on Lost.

I know, I’m a nut. But since I know it’s not going to happen, it’s kind of a fun format to ponder, right? Right? =p
