I spent a long time working out names for my current WIP, partly because there are just so many dang characters! So I *totally* sympathize.

First it was “do they sound like who they are?” and “am I repeating first letters?” Then it was “do I have too many names the same length, the same shape, or with the same number of syllables?”

Elliot became Ezra, Gretchen became Wren, Crystal became Kaitlyn… Timothy became Forrest, and Forrest became Timothy — and I’m sure my husband became *way* bored with hearing me talk about my naming schemes!

Diana, now I’m curious: whose names, in the SSG series, came to you unbidden, and whose did you change? And what did you change them from? Can this be a DVD extra?
