Busy busy busy today, so I’ll just leave you with some links to interesting blogs I’ve been reading lately:

Gabrielle is an Aussie ex-pat in Paris, and her Oz-tinged blogposts do the impossible: make me miss her country. She’s apparently a reader here (hi, Gabrielle!) and I’m very into her style. Oh, and Get Well, Kylie.

And, on the lists of bloggers-beginning-with G, Gillian Anderson has a blog. Gillian. Anderson. My geeky heart goes wild. Hands up, people, Gillian Anderson or Julianne Moore as your favorite redheaded actress? Gillian? Julianne? (Anyone who says Renee Russo can get out of my office right now.)

And, the best review of the new Star Wars I’ve seen to date.

One final note: We are now officially in the second half of (Secret) Society Girl, Book 1.

You know, I can’t help but look at Gillian Anderson and always imagine her with a little Band-Aid on her forehead. I swear, in every X Files episode, Mulder would get shot at, beaten to hell and almost exploded to smithereens. He’d have his arm in a sling, would be bleeding, bruises all over him…and there’s Scully over there with her little head injury that constantly required a Band-Aid. Every time I see her, I picture her that way. LOL!!

Oh…and I’ve seen pictures of Julianne Moore from when she was here in college in Boston. Red ain’t her natural color. :)

if you look at season one of hte x-files, you’ll notice that it’s not Gillian’s either. Same with Nicole Kidman (cf. Days of Thunder) though honestly, I’d prefer she went back to red than that horrific pinkish-blonde she’s been sporting recently. Most redheads have naturally auburn-brown hair at best. But if it plays up very easily, it can become a great signature.

Lucy wasn’t red either, but we odn’t hold it against her. ;-)
