I never met any of those people either. I’ve never met anyone in RWA, either online or in a chapter or at a conference, National or regional, or seen anyone say in a newsletter or the RWR, that there is any absolute at all other than Write a Good Book.

I have, however, heard plenty of second-hand and third-hand of people believing they were given absolutes. So how much of it is eye of the beholder?

Maybe we’re just lucky.

Oh, wait, I can’t go to Reno. Just you, then. Lucky.

Hey, Diana, have a great time. I kind of wish I was going, but I’ve got too many other things going on in my life right now. Even if I could make the time, I’d be too preoccupied to really enjoy myself. And I’ve got a couple deadlines, anyway. So, not going, but not angsting either. **grin**
