One of my favorite pictures from our trip. There we are, strolling down Rome’s most fashionable shopping strip, and we come across the following window display:

The Belstaff website also has the movie poster up, which I guess means they are the official outfitters of survivors of the zombie apocalypse.
At least we know what to wear.

LOL. I was wondering what to wear. Off to shop for the apocalypse…

Ha. Great pic. I’m excited to hear more about your trip. I was in Rome last summer and loved it, although, the heat that time of year about killed me.

Verrrrrrrrrrry interesting.
Here’s a post-apocalypse display in a Florence store window that I took last year …
What’s up with the Italians? Do they know something we don’t know?

You’d think they’d consider the liability of a messenger bag before putting up that display. Do you really want to wear something that rigor-stiffened hands can easily grab?
Though if the zombie apocalypse saw a resurgence in the fanny pack, I might just let them eat me.

I’d be a little more excited if you could pinpoint a date for the zombie apocalypse. I mean, I’d hate to be in the apocalypse wearing an outfit that is out of season…

I think I’d want more pockets and loops for weaponry. Can’t have too many weapons for the apocalypse, I say.

Emily, my husband and I were both really sick on the trip, so it was a bit of a disaster. Sigh.
Marley, I love it! I think the Italians are privy to top-secret info.
Aden, I always think being eaten is preferable to being turned. Because then, of course, you’d have to wear the pack forEVER.
Patrick, zombie fashion is TIMELESS. Like Audrey Hepburn.
Carrie, you’d know better than I, but it seemed to work out for Will, no? Also, I think the messenger bag may be his “day wear” since the forlks in “legend” were some sort of vamp/zombie hybrid who don’t like daylight? At least, that was the deal in the Vincent Price version.
