We think his name shall be Harry. He’s got the sweetest disposition. Not excitable at all. He just kind of chills out, even though int eh two days since leaving his mommy, he’s been in three new places visiting all these new people, none of which has been home. I’m thinking when he finally DOES get home, he won’t believe they are staying there at first.

He looks so sweet and completely huggable! Think they’ll notice if you don’t give him back?

OMG! What a boo!
Sorry. I have this tendency to degrade into baby talk around cute puppies. He’s a darlin’, Diana. I wish I could have a dog, but my cat is against the idea. (So is my landlord.) ;o)

Old English Sheepdog, from Shagshadow.
Unfortunately, OES are a very common puppy mill dog (horrible breeding factories where the dogs are terribly mistreated, and the resulting puppies are often diseased or deformed; they tend to be the ones sold in pet stores, destroyed, or given over to medical testing facilities to be abused) so you want to make sure that you get yours through a responsible breeder or rescue organization.
I’m very sensitive to this situation.
A friend of mine rescues dogs who were imprisoned in puppy mills that are so bad they’re shut down by the government (got to be REALLY bad for that); one of her bitches was only a few years old when she got her, and had already had something like half a dozen litters! She was kept in a cage and her hind quarters were raw to the bone.

What a cutie! Thanks for sharing!
You two should definitely get a puppy of your own, preferably one like Harry who just chills and doesn’t get in the way of the writing and legal careers, but is there for the hugs and snuggles as desired.
Yay for puppies!
