I’m so giddy. I recently received a link to these pieces of fan art from the talented Emilia, who has been drawing portraits of all the hunters. Here are a few of my favorites:

Okay, y’all. In the background? those are bloody sheep. I lurrrve it.
And here’s a remarkably accurate rendition of Phil and Bonegrinder (let’s pretend BG rolled in some mud and got her hair dirty):

And then, of course, our heroine, Astrid:

What’s so great about this one is the attention to detail. Astrid is in fact wearing a skirt in that scene, because she’s been out on the town with the other hunters, and she borrowed a “floaty, swirly” skirt from Phil. And her eyebrows are so perfect. And the alicorn knife! I love it!
Thanks, Emilia! And if anyone wants to see more, there are some more on her website.

Thank you so much!
I’m glad you like them so much! If you notice there are also some very large holes in those sheep…he he.
I just posted Rosamund and Zelda on my site, so check it out if you want!
Once again Thanks! And keep writing-Please!!

Is anyone else doing fan art from either RAMPANT or the R&G books?

There have been a couple.
here and here (the latter is manipulated, not original)
There was also a great picture of the swimming lesson from ROSB, but it appears to have disappeared. i odn’t know if it’s saved on my computer.

Awesome! Great job, Emily - I love all the colours. Can’t wait to see Valerija, and I’m dying to see your take on Bucephalus…

I’m glad others like them as well!
As for Bucephalus, I have a pencil sketch that I will try to color soon and upload, and as for Valerija…progress is on Hold, because I haven’t started her yet, and I was hoping to do the scene where they first meet her, only the library has repossed my copy of the book, so as soon as I get it back I will start!!
