Excellent point, Diana, about the strength of emotion re: Logan and how Piz is different. I guess I just like sweet guys. I don't DISAGREE about Piz and Veronica, though--there's no chemistry there of any kind, and pushing the idea of them getting together doesn't work at the moment.

The whole "writers in love with their characters" thing resonates with me because I feel that was/is the case with Lana on Smallville. There's nothing redeemable about the character or the performance, for me, though it's clear the writers feel differently.

I'm so with you on the Veronica stuff! Dick C. is the BEST! Have you noticed how there's never a boring Dick scene? He's a natural antagonist.

And I SOOOO agree about Logan. Love or hate, Logan does it big.

Oh, and TONIGHT? The baseball bat? He's bad again! HOrray! Logan is BAD again!!!!!!!

Ally

I gave up lost and picked up veronica. Never did get into GA. Joan isn't actually on TV anymore.

nalini, that's SO EXCITING!

the luggage? Oh, the luggage. Really, I do nothing to it. I have to check it -- otherwise how do I transport my cosmetics?

Diana - thank you!! :)

Re the blogging we did for StS - personally, I think it was a definite success. It helped get my name out there and then people read and reviewed the book. Would that have happened anyway? Impossible to say, but as far as I'm concerned, the blogging gave StS a great platform to start off on. Then it was up to the book itself.

The #1 was on StS as well as Visions. One of my other books went to #1 on the Walden's list (YAY!!), though StS made it onto BookScan and the Barnes & Noble list! Woohoo!!

p.s. forgot to say - what *do* you do with that poor luggage?!

I believe "#1 National Bestselling Author" means she hit number one on a bookstore chains list. Since the publisher doesn't want to alienate other bookstores by putting "Waldenbooks" or "Barnes & Noble" on the cover of a book, they just say national bestseller. Whatever it means, it's still super! Congrats, Nalini.

I've never watched Veronica Mars. Nor Joan of Arcadia. I stick with Lost and Grays Anatomy. Night time is the only time I have to actually read! So I can't get hooked on too many.
Teri
