She was really good. I'd praise her more, but she carried the "america" number and I don't know if it was the acoustics or what, but I could barely understand it. I think it's very telling that I mentioned that during intermission and SB was like "oh, it was in Spanish." -- that's how hard to understand it it was. (It wasn't in Spanish, because the idea behind this Anita is that she speaks English throughout the first half of the show, as an "optimistic immigrant" and then switches to Spanish after Bernado's death amkes her disillusioned). But she was awesome at the dance scene and in "Tonight" and whatever the new, Spanish title of "A Boy Like That" was. Also, kicked ASS in the rape sequence. Her screaming is really show stopping.
