LOVE IT love it love it love it love it! I just love the twist on the other covers and how they all work together, but this one stands out! I really think it will fly off the shelves — I know I can’t wait to read it! Yay for awesome covers!!
Love the cover! I can’t wait to read this one. And I’m with everyone else this will fly off the shelves. Even those who have not yet read SSG (can there really be anyone out there who hasn’t?) will grab this one and then know they need the others.
Heather: hilarious! Funny story: so at my wedding, I made these menus to go on the table, and we were having crab cakes. Except, I actually wrote “crap cakes” and the spell check didn’t catch it because I’d turned it off for “crap” because of Amy’s favorite swear word!
Emily: Thank you!
Stacy: It’s my favorite, too! I love that she’s in a yellow bikini. The art dept. did that all on their own.
Carrie: thanks! I’m so into that tattoo. I think it fits without being too much like the others.
Thanks, Phyllis!
Annie: I know! I was just talking to my YA editor the other day about how excited we are to do that cover!
Celeste, I don’t know about that. Might be tough.
Thanks, Erica!
Thanks, Bill! It’s my favorite, too.
See, Marley’s READ the story, so she knows how perfect it is… the shorts!
Thanks, jaci! I can’t wait to FINISH.
Thanks, Jessica!
Actually, Julie, I had a terrible experience last time with the temp tattoo companies. I tried to do some for SSG, and it was a disaster. They STILL have my money, the jerks!
Thank you Maureen. I can actually picture Amy wearing this outfit. Could never see her in those sweaters.
Thank you, Wendy! I don’t know if I’m proud or not, since it just showed up in my inbox. I didn’t do a thing for it. All my editor and the art dept.
Thank you, vicki! I just hope SSG is on the shelves for them to buy.
Thank you, Amanda! I love the title too. I wish I could take credit, but my editor and I were racking our brains to no avail. her boss came up with it. Isn’t it fabulous?

Oh, I can feel the sunshine! Very tropical… and where might a girl get a cool tatt of a rose and grave?

Thanks, Brooke! Since the bulk of the story takes place on an island off the Florida Keys, I thought it was appropriate.
I know Amy and her friends got their tattoos at an upscale tattoo artist establishment in New York City.
