Goal: To acquire and eat/drink a slurpee.
Motivation: It’s a SLURPEE! Bonus – Wife would also like a slurpee.
Conflict: Evil bastards kill slurpee hunters. have to go for a tux fitting. It is Thursday and Thursday is when we raid. That’s sort of like a religious holiday thing..

I ended up here from Heather Harper’s blog (who I adore but don’t tell her) and really enjoyed reading your post. I found it informative as far as writing and it got me all riled up because I’m an old Warcraft player (pre-WOW) and now I feel like wasting some goblins. Anyway thanks. And I’m going to email you about my misadventures getting here which aren’t really comment material.

Jami, I LOVE that Southpark episode. Hysterical — Diana, SB should see it if he hasn’t already.

Cool post, Diana. Never thought of GMC in the WOW context. I spend more time watching WOW than actually playing it – my 14-year-old son is into it, but usually plays PVE (he thinks many of the PVP players are a bit over the top, or, in the words of SB, “assholes”). Personally, I mostly go on quests and try to stay out of more dangerous areas.
